Overview
Nepal is the land of mountains, and the Everest Trekking Region is the most recognized region for adventure seekers. It is recognized because it houses the highest peak of the world Mount Everest (8848 m). The Everest region, also the Khumbu region has few or no paved roads, cycles, buses, and any means of transportation. The people living in the region must walk miles to find their basic needs. The best season for trekking can be late May to mid of September and late September-November to February-May. The best season for mountaineering/ climbing Mount Everest is in May, as it is free of harsh snow, extreme rain, and raspy windstorms.
