Food is one of the best ways to get to know the place you are visiting. The food reflects the culture, tradition, and religion, and expresses the friendliness of a group of people. Nepal is bordered by two behemoths; India and China, the food also reflects the combination of both cultures with its twist. The use of spices come from India and the techniques and food type comes from China. We have borrowed the traditions of both countries and molded them according to our taste to show ourselves internationally. Along with the borrowed traditions, there are also local food items of denizens in Kathmandu, the Newar community. The food reflects the culture, traditions, and celebrations/events of the Newar community, as specific foods are eaten on specific occasions.
In this Cooking Experience and Tour in Kathmandu, you can choose between meal time (lunch/dinner) with vegetarian, non-vegetarian, and vegan options. You will be cooking 4 to 5 dishes in the cooking class of your choice. The local Nepali chef will teach you;
